LLDPE Granules

LLDPE Granules, or Linear Low-Density Polyethylene Granules, are similar to LDPE Granules but have a slightly different molecular structure. This difference gives them some property advantages over LDPE. They are also tiny, plastic pellets that resemble grains of rice and come in a variety of colors, most commonly natural (white) or black.

LLDPE has higher tensile strength and impact resistance compared to LDPE. It is Suitable for applications requiring durability, like toys or automotive parts.

Chemical and Physical Property:

  • Low Chemical Reactivity
  • Low Density
  • Good toughness
  • Moisture Resistance
  • Good Electric Insulator
  • LLDPE can be translucent in its natural state and can be pigmented to become opaque.

Application:

  • Film applications (bags, wraps)
  • Stretch wrap
  • Trash can liners
  • Caps and lids
  • Food packaging
  • Industrial films and tubing
  • Automotive parts
  • Wire and cable insulation
